Jo was very calm and confident and shared lots of knowledge with me as she talked through what she was doing and why. When it was my turn to try, she talked me through step by step. I'd done lots of newborn training before but I'd never had the confidence to try a posed newborn shoot in the studio on my own. Jo gave me the confidence I needed and a week after training I braved a shoot on my own. I remembered all the techniques that Jo taught me to settle babies and how to be patient. I had a successful shoot and got images I was proud of. One even gained a Bronze award in the Guild of Photographers monthly competition!

1-2-1 mentoring 1 hour £100
These sessions are designed to help you to look critically at your images and find ways in which they can be improved.
This will include posing, lighting and editing techniques. Photographs will be live edited in Photoshop on a shared screen to show you how small changes can make all the difference to a finished image.
In the hour session around 10 images can be looked at and should be sent before the session via Dropbox or WeTransfer.
Mentoring can also include other aspects of your business such as pricing, website reviews, IPS and setting manageable goals and targets.
The aim is to leave you motivated with a clear vision of the next steps to work on.
Regular mentoring can have a huge impact upon your photography, helping to keep you inspired and challenged with tailored goals to work towards. Mentoring sessions are therefore also available in blocks:
3 hours - £250
5 hours - £350Undertaking 1-2-1 mentoring with Jo has had such a positive impact on my work and business. Jo has a wonderful way of reviewing my work and giving feedback that means I'm always clear on what to do next and how. I always leave my mentoring feeling motivated to try the next thing and Jo always recognises my progress when we next chat. It feels like having a friend in your corner.
