Master Craftsman

By Jo Bradley / 1 Mar / News

At the beginning of February I was awarded my Master Craftsman qualification with the Guild of Photographers, the first newborn photographer to gain this with The Guild.  It was an incredibly nerve wracking experience facing a panel of 5 judges with my 20 printed images.  20 images doesn’t sound like a lot, but it took 15 months of hard work to produce 20 beautiful fine art images that all followed the theme and vision of the panel.  I feel absolutely stunned to have achieve this and so delighted that all my hard work paid off!  It has been an amazing journey with the Guild of Photographers and my mentor has really helped me to look critically at my photographs and my style.  Becoming a Craftsman and then a Master Craftsman has had an incredible impact upon my photography and has challenged me to constantly improve.  I have absolutely loved the experience and am so thrilled to have achieved this highest accolade.  I would like to say a big thank you to all of my amazing clients that trusted me to take your photographs of your precious newborn.  Without you none of this would be possible.
